# PCIe ***Copyright © Quectel Wireless Solutions Co., Ltd. 2026. All rights reserved.*** --- The **Quectel Pi M2** board exposes a single **PCIe** interface (RK3576 PCIe0, at `2a200000.pcie`) via an M.2 slot, which is multiplexed between two use cases: a **5G module** and an **M.2 NVMe SSD**. PCIe0 is configured by default for the **5G HAT** use case (with modem power/reset/wake timing). When switching between the two, **power off** the board first, swap the M.2 device, then power on again. **The M.2 slot accepts only one device at a time — the 5G module and NVMe SSD are mutually exclusive and cannot be used simultaneously.** This section assumes commands are executed from an **SSH** or **Debug Uart** terminal session; most commands can also be run from the Debian GNOME desktop terminal.
